A Daughter's Journey

This is the first in my Birch End series. I seem to be finding so many stories to tell about the imaginary Ellin Valley. This time we have an Australian heroine coming to find her father's family. Jo Melling has arrived in Birch End from Australia, still grieving her father's recent death. She's not intending to stay long, but after tracking down her distant family, Jo becomes more involved in village life than she could ever have imagined. She falls into sudden danger but also meets Nick, who is setting up a driving school, a fairly new thing in the 1930s. Can they win through together?
