I picked up your book Beyond the Sunset and just couldn’t put it down. It was a warm moving story and of great interest to me as I have visited family and fell in love with Western Australia. Since losing my husband books are my passion so thank you for producing such compelling reading. Doreen Ardron, UK
I have been reading your books for many years and can't wait in the evening (when little one is asleep) to go to bed to spend a good hour or two reading a book from yourself. I have been reading your books for the last 10 years and can read them again and again. Me and Nan often swap and we both love your stories. Thank you for all your fantastic books, you are amazing. Emma Bufton, Shropshire
I just wanted to write to you and say how much I love reading your books. I first read Freedom's Land and fell in love with your style of writing. I think that I have every one of your books now. Your books are the "can't put down" type of book and I always keep a look out for any new ones. Chris Adams, Port Pirie, South Australia

My son is terminally ill with a degenerative genetic condition and to escape the realities of life into one of your books keeps me going. I wish real life was more like your books instead of the mad pace of these modern days. Thanks or keeping me going at a very dark time. Elizabeth Heath, Lancashire
Thank you for writing such interesting books. I have already read 13 of your books within the last three months and I love them. I buy everything on Kindle and will keep reading your books until I finish every single book. I wait up till 3.00am in the morning because I don't want to put it down. Priyanthi Ellawala

You are an inspiration to all who have the pleasure of reading your books. Each Trader's book has been such a delight. Trouble is they take weeks to write and days to read, because they are so difficult to put down. Nelma B, Victoria, Australia
Anna, I have just finished reading Traders Sister, a superb book. Your characters seem so lifelike. It’s a rare talent that you have giving pleasure to so many people with your writing. I cannot choose a favourite out of your books I have enjoyed them all. Thank you so much for the hours of enjoyment you give me.Avril H, South Yorkshire

I would just like to say how much I am enjoying your books. Once I have picked one up, I find it so hard to put down again. I get so engrossed in the story that I actually feel as if I'm in the book itself. Your books take me away from the difficult times and transport me elsewhere. Really brilliant, many, many thanks. Linda H, UK reader

Just had to tell you - 3 weeks ago I downloaded by first book written by you onto my kindle to take on holidays. You are now absolutely my favourite writer - you are a treasure and have an amazing gift. Thank you - I have now read 12 of your books on kindle and just downloaded the 3 x Wiltshire Girls. Ruth, Australia
I have just finished reading one of your latest books "Moving On ". I could not put the book down for I was so engrossed as to how it all ended. You see it came close to being my life story as I was another" Molly". Like Molly I too have found my strength and found the real me again, so could relate so much to your book. Whilst it may all be fiction it does happen in real life too. This I can vow to.I am sure your book will help many who find themselves in similar circumstances. Give them the courage to "Move On". Thank You for writing the book. I have read many of your books but this one has a special place in my heart. Phyllis, Adelaide South Australia
I discovered your books quite by accident in my local library. I am hooked! I have now read several...brilliant writing and I have enjoyed every single book; totally unable to "put them down" and even taking them to bed which I have NEVER ever done before! I have just printed your book list off which will ensure that I read all the sagas in sequence. I have never read as much in my whole life and I look forward to many more enjoyable "reading hours". I was asked if I wanted a Kindle to read them but I love turning each and every single page of one of your books. Jenny Leach, UK

I just wanted to drop a message and let you know how grateful I am for your stories. My mother gave me one of your books two months ago and since then I havnt been able to stop reading. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of the Gibson family and then the Kershaws. Your style of writing is so engaging, your books keep me enthralled from the begining to the end. Im going to let my poor eyes have a rest for a while as I can see you have many more books for me to read. Just wanted to let you know that what you do is appreciated, thank you for sharing your talent. Tracy
We are a group of high school friends who have been captivated by your series of Annie stories. We all graduated in 1952 from Manchester Iowa high school. We have been passing 5 dog eared paper backs and two hardbacks published in England around to the seven of us. We have had much discussion and enjoyment from them. Donna, Iowa

Dear Anna, what would I do without you ! Reading is a true passion and I love to get lost in your books. You have a true ability to do that for us and I for one love you for it . I'm disabled and have been bedridden for 10 years, sometimes reading is all I've got. I would just like to thank you for the many hours you have helped take my pain away, which a great book will do ! As always, waiting for your next book. Love and thanks to you and your family, Lorraine

II just finished the Gibson Family Saga and just loved it. I felt so part of their family and was at peace when things were going well and cried when sad things happened. Thank you so very much for writing such books that just suck us into the characters and their lives. Wendy Charles.
Have just bought some of your books from Amazon, the trouble is I just can't put them down. They are super and I am recommending them to all my friends. I am having trouble doing any of the housework, just cannot put one down until I have finished reading. Margaret Springham, UK.

Just finished first Anna Jacobs book (Farewell to Lancashire) didn't realise it was a saga and can't wait to get next book. Great to find a writer who can capture my attention from page one. Catherine Cookson has been my all time favourite but if the rest of your books are like this she has competition. Lesley
Dear Anna Thank you for writing such wonderful books. They are just my style of book. Real people with real problems and real solutions. No gratuitous sex or violence or unnecessary bad language. Yet you don't gloss over domestic violence or male domination of women. It is good to see such strong women take control of their lives and turn around what could be disaster into happiness and fulfilment. I just love your books and - as other people have said - I can't put a book down once I get started. Keep up the good work. Irene, Rockhampton

Please...stop writing books so I can get some work done! I just love your books and have read lots, I really appreciate the fact that they are, apart from being wonderful stories, free of over the top sex and bad language. Thank you. Pauline, Esperance, Western Australia

My daughter introduced me to your beautiful books recently and I must tell you how addicted I am, they are wonderful. I too was born in Lancashire – Colne. You make your characters so real that I could meet and see them on any street. Each book I liken to an orchestra building up to a crescendo. I am a 78 year old woman and you have given me a new lease on life. Please keep it up for all your other addicts. Thanks so very much. Maureen from Forrestfield, Western Australia.

I must apologise for not keeping up to date with this section. I've had tight deadlines on books to be written, my husband had a hip replacement and I had to look after him. All in all, we think it's been the busiest time of our lives. Normal service will be resumed soon.
